Since your graphic card is really good and can handle the game perfectly, If ur looking for more graphic improvement, I suggest u Reshade ( But ! Choose FEWER effects ) Also , about your monitor , finally , In NVIDIA Inspector , in FPS Limiter option, set it to 120 , because you can handle it.

These cards are a good match for the i5. You don't need any more powerful ones, without wasting $ and causing a bottleneck. If you have the budget, the GTS/GTX 5xx is the newer generation for the Nvidia series and if you prefer AMD, go up one tier to the 6870.
The GTX 1060 comes out in two versions, a version with 3GB of Video RAM, and a version with 6GB of VRAM. The 6GB is slightly more powerful than the 3GB version, but the 3GB should still be good for the sims 3 and its slightly cheaper. There's also the RX 480. That card also comes in two versions, one with 8GB of VRAM and one with 4GB I believe.
