There are three elder bogatyrs: Svyatogor, Volga Svyatoslavich and Mikula Selyaninovich. Svyatogor is the oldest and strongest bogatyr. Historians and philologists agree that Svyatogor is most probably a pre-Christian hero of Russian lore. Svyatogor is a huge giant who lives in the Holy mountains.
