If you find an OMOD that you like and doesn't exist in a loose files version, you can just extract it with OBMM, optionally select the features you'd like, archive it and install it via MO2 like any other mod. Someone's made a guide for exactly that if you need more detailed explanations.
MO2 is the best mod launcher out there, don't use NMM or Vortex. If you want to use wryebash that works too, but that's a little more difficult and also requires OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) and BOSS which is for maintaining and setting mod order.
1 cze 2020 · Contemporary mod managers tell you what files from what mod they're going to overwrite, and even give you the option to selectively overwrite files on a case-by-case basis, which is a lot more useful for "understanding" your mods and getting them to play to your satisfaction together than the basic windows explorer.
11 mar 2023 · Wrye Bash is like a fundamental tool for modding Oblivion. It's so essential when you have multiple mods due to the feature of the bashed patch. The bashed patch takes into 'consideration' what your load order is and it builds a way to implement multiple mod changes into the game without overlapping. If you can learn how to use it, it's fantastic.
5 gru 2021 · I use Mod Organizer 1 for mods, LOOT to sort, and Mator Smash for leveled lists (actually, I just smash everything but the core esp). Has worked great for a few thousand hours with 250ish esps. I do let MO1 sort archives, which means there's some extra work sorting manually, but I like the control (texture mods, etc.).
27 lip 2023 · Generally most people will suggest Wrye Bash or Oblivion Mod Manager due to a few caveats this game has (thankfully SkyBSA blessed us so we don't need to mess around with timestamps anymore) and a lot of popular mods using BAIN. If you have the capabilities to do so go ahead and use Wrye Bash.
