24 lis 2009 · It's getting colder outside and I won't be able to paint any bodies outside, does anyone have any ideas for creating an indoor paint booth? Right now I will be using spray cans to paint but soon will be investing in an airbrush and compressor.
6 kwi 2024 · I only have one window in my basement and that window opens up to an area outside under my deck. The deck is about one foot off the ground and is enclosed on all sides. Obviously the space under the deck is not air tight, but would this be too much of an enclosed space to vent into?
24 lis 2009 · They have adequate ventilation so never reach the lower explosive limits of the paint vapors. The only paint booth fire that I have seen posted with details, involved an individual using a shop vac for the blower.

1 paź 2010 · Calculator. When spraying paint in a paint booth, you need to expel the fumes from the work area. In sufficiently high concentrations, the fumes will cause health problems and may even lead to serious injury. The fumes are removed from the area by use of an exhaust fan.
The air column is about 3 feet to the ceiling, then about 25 feet to the exterior. I can feel it draw across my hands in the booth and fumes are zero issue. I spray Tamiya mostly with a lacquer based thinner (Mr Color Leveling Thinner) and some water based acrylics like Vallejo.
