It works well. The air column is about 3 feet to the ceiling, then about 25 feet to the exterior. I can feel it draw across my hands in the booth and fumes are zero issue. I spray Tamiya mostly with a lacquer based thinner (Mr Color Leveling Thinner) and some water based acrylics like Vallejo.

I found the Vent Works DIY kit that included the plans, sheet metal and blower, but unfortunately due to high demand of their other products they had do discontinue this offering.
