Magic weapons are associated with the Magic combat skill. They can be divided into items that can autocast combat spells from specific spellbooks, and weapons with built-in spells that are typically charged with runes and various tokens.
The best magic weapon is the Fractured Staff of Armadyl, roughly worth ~3.5b right now. It has a special attack that fires off an auto-attack every time you land a critical hit. It is therefore pretty much required to have a bunch of crtitical chance boosting bonuses, else it will not be as amazing.
