25 wrz 2018 · Ironically lower viscosity oil will tend to run cooler as shear forces on the oil use power that converts to heat. I have found using a 15w -40 in place of a 20w-50 resulted in the same hot oil pressur and slightly lower operating temps.

4 sie 2014 · Next year, oil cooler fitted, along with better oil (millers CSS), no issues with oil pressure or cranks. Of course the "best" solution may be an oil/water heat exchanger. That allows the oil to heat up faster (good) and maintain a steady temp (again good)
10 lis 2019 · I’ve bought a mocol thermostatically controlled oil cooler for my spitfire 1500. now I know I probably don’t need one but let’s not go there. question is, does anyone have any pictures and advice as to how to fit it - pictures would be great as it comes with no instructions what so ever!
