16 sty 2023 · You can use an active FFXI subscription, a trial account or login during one of the Return Home to Van'diel campaigns which allow former subscribers to login for free. Once you have updated the game using an active account you can then use the quick method of updating (which does not require an active account).
The EXP multipliers make it very easy to kill easy prey mobs solo and get good EXP. The multipliers get better if you're in a party fighting tougher mobs. All Gil quests give five times the reward.
