It's solo friendly in quality of life. 4x exp, syncing if you desire, home points and outpost warps. You can achieve 1-75 on a job simply within a matter of days with 4x exp solo. I know because I did at least 8 jobs 1-75 solo there burning pages on my own.

Once you have updated the game using an active account you can then use the quick method of updating (which does not require an active account).
