If you want an actually good HDMI over fiber cable you need to pay up for pure fiber cables rather than hybrid cables which can have issues at longer lengths due to the CEC, EDID and other lines being copper and only the video being optical.
22 lip 2021 · I'm using a Ruipro 48gbps (Gen3c version) active cable now, 33ft run. The best HDMI cable I've ever used, works to its advertised specs (which is the most important thing) without a blip, superb customer support from the company. Previously I was using a uGreen active cable, also the same 33ft run. It started dying just a few months into use.
25 wrz 2020 · Could there be insufficient HDMI power from my receiver to reach the projector via optic fibre over 20m? These optic fibre hybrid cables are supposed to be good for much further distances than that without a signal booster.
11 lis 2021 · For those sorts of needs, the best HDMI cable for the job is Cable Matters Ultra Thin HDMI cable pack, which comes with two cables that are as much as 70% trimmer than other HDMI cables.
As long as the source HDMI adapter is plugged in to your PC and the DISPLAY adapter to the TV you should be all good. The direction of the cable itself (without the connectors) should not matter. The direction of the eARC wire also does not matter because you are not expecting to receive TV audio at your PC.
26 paź 2023 · Hi all, does anyone have any experience/suggestions for a fibre optic HDMI cable (30m or so) with HDMI 2.1 capabilities. Doesn't have to be certified as long as it can deliver 48Gbps rock solid without issues as I know there's a lot of cheap ones out there.
11 lut 2024 · Luckily, this is easy to test—just connect everything up with your cable and check if your TV gets a signal, recognises it as 4K and/or HDR, and displays it without any obvious problems. If it does, you’re good to go.
