I recently got into dubstep and I'm looking for some albums to listen to. I googled it and wasn't satisfied with any of the results so I'm trying here. For some historic records, check out Untrue by Burial and Welcome Reality by Nero.
My favorite album has to teminite - uprising. But much of this comes down to how much I personally love his style as well as his effortless ability to mix genres. However, I think the album that best represents the genre as well as having the highest standard of quality imo, is zomboy - immunity.
Man has it all from the wonky dubstep, to some house and electro swing, to some future funky live band moments, and usually has live artists with him to support and perform i.e. Chrishira, ProbCause, and the late night horns.

Are we including straight up dubstep albums? Because I would probably go with Virtual Riot - Simulation (2021) as a top contender. Or Chime, Franky Nuts, Oliverse - Tritone EP (2021).
