DA2 is the least modded out of the series for me but here's my must haves/highly recommend mods: Gameplay: Automatic Chargen, Import Fixes, Arishok Rebalance, Epilogue Fix/Restoration, Backpack Mod, Summon Dog 1s Cooldown, LVL & Exp Rebalance, Tougher Dog.
Now I understand that DA2 does not have quite the same mod scene but from what I gather there must be some good ones out there, both graphical and modifying gameplay. Dragon Age 2 Ultimate HD - to make everything prettier. you may need to download the LAA, which is linked in the text, to load all textures. Those are the mods I'll use every time. Anything else I have installed is personal preference and to make NPCs etc. canon compliant.
