If you want to do cloud security, then Microsoft Azure has some free training and certs are approachable, same with AWS and maybe bundle with a vender neutral cloud cert like CCSK (all their study material is free and available). If you want to do pen testing then maybe start with Pentest+ and work toward OSCP.
Security+ is a good "general" cert. CISSP is "a mile wide and an inch deep" type of cert. If you want to work in a SOC, then something like SPlunk free training is great to have. I am studying for CISM (Management) right now.
Here is my list: CompTIA Security+ course by Jason Dion on Udemy. This is really good to get the basis knowledge and concepts of cybersecurity. PEN-200 – Penetration Testing with Kali Linux by Offensive Security. This is probably the best course for pentesting and you’ll learn everything you need for the OSCP exam.
