A client has asked me to help recommend a camera for recording live games {think 20 minute halves} as well as basketball practices that last about 1 hour at a time. They would love to be able to quickly see the footage on a device, but nothing comes to mind unless they just use a smart phone.
Camcorders are typically pretty ideal for filming basketball games (cheap, good view angle, etc.), but we're now looking at alternatives. Are we out in a sunny football field or in some fluorescent lit college basketball gym? (Also make sure you have permission for whatever you’re planning to broadcast, obviously). Honestly most decent modern DSLR or mirrorless cam options could work.
