Click “Search automatically for updated driver software”. Allow it to download and install the new driver. Reboot. You can now use the Kinect for Xbox One as a webcam and for Windows Hello. References: Windows Hello with the Kinect v2; Test Distribution Drivers

This setup works great for most desktop applications, such as Zoom, Skype, Windows' integrated camera app, etc. Discord seems to see Kinect Cam as an option for use as a webcam yet refuses to switch to it when selected, but whatever.
22 kwi 2019 · Trying to get the Xbox 360 Kinect working with Windows 10. It had worked once before, it remained untouched in a box for quite awhile and now tutorials, even updated ones... I have installed the SDK stuff from Microsoft, as well as Visual Community service pack, and on top of that running this guys cmd script from C drive.
19 maj 2018 · It has always been possible to do such thing with Kinect in Windows 10, but now it’s easier than ever. All you have to do is to go to the Device Manager, find your Kinect device, check for driver updates, and you’re good to go.
