29 mar 2020 · At time of writing I have the Kinect recognised as my camera and mic in Zoom. It should also work in Skype and some other platforms, but not Teams as far as I can tell. 1.8 works for me btw - not tried other versions.

This setup works great for most desktop applications, such as Zoom, Skype, Windows' integrated camera app, etc. Discord seems to see Kinect Cam as an option for use as a webcam yet refuses to switch to it when selected, but whatever.

I'm looking for help with setting up my 360 kinect. Is anyone aware of a way to use my kinect as a web cam without running it through OBS or a similar 3rd party app? I have a low end computer and running multiple media apps like that is taxing.
