I just bought a HP ENVY 5540 printer. I've spent almost 7 hours trying to get this printer setup. The wireless light on the printer is solid. I've tried everything to get this printer to print. Print Failure comes up. But, I can print the HP test page. Does anyone have any similar problems with the Envy 5540?

28 wrz 2019 · Hi, Configured as a wireless printer, and can be seen on the network. However, when trying to print always get "Error printing on HP ENVY 5540 series". I have run the HP Print and Scan Doctor and it recommended to uninstall driver software and reinstall.
3 mar 2021 · It appears that having a dynamic IP for the printer on the wifi network is the issue. Every time there is a Windows update, the IP changes. So the solution is to change the IP to a static IP.
