Best advice I can offer is buy a laptop where Amazon is listed as the one shipping and sending it to you from their warehouse instead of a third party seller. I've always considered physical stores safer for computers, and I've seen reviews on amazon indicating that the laptop people received didn't match….
I found a laptop I want to get from best buy. The closest one is over two hours away, so I'll have to ship it to me. Has anyone had any issues with this? I was almost scammed by a third party seller on Amazon, so I'm worried about buying another expensive laptop online.
Typically I start on Amazon and look for a product with good reviews. That IMO can’t really be trusted, but at least you can avoid the ones with bad reviews even there. Then it’s off to Reddit and YouTube.
