I would recommend anyone play Matt Hoffman’s Pro BMX and Matt Hoffman’s Pro BMX 2. They are the Tony Hawks Pro Skateboarding equivalent and imo very much worth playing at least once to experience the early 2000’s gaming nostalgia.

Is there any good action sports games out there, old Gen systems we had paintball games, Dave Mirra bmx, Matt Hoffman bmx. I know they remastered tony hawk 1 and 2 which I own but I would like to bmx again, I quite enjoy the Ubisoft Riders republic game. It’s got all sorts and is pretty cheap if you wait for a deal.
Is there a unanimous favorite amongst BMX games? First GH title added to the set in a few weeks. I used to play the Mat Hoffman demo on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 all the time. I didn't particularly find it great but back then we didn't have a lot of options. Dave Mirra was the best, but XXX is basically Dave mirra with smut.
You should check out some full videos from the evolve stunting team. Their last BMX video was pretty awesome!
Get GTA 5, buy a BMX and learn to do grinds, etc. There's not a whole lot of tricks you can do, but the amazing open world makes up for it. Here's an idea of what it looks like...
