Diplomacy, improved garrisons are the only must have mods. There’s a bunch of others I really enjoy, but playing vanilla is just fine. Others would be Fourgerie, distinguished service, governors handle problems, realistic battle mod, etc. Just search by most popular all time, most of those are great. 15.
