Hey everyone, I’m doing some research to find the best known AI video editors. I’m mostly interested in cutting, because that’s the worst part of editing and it takes the longest. So far, I use an AI in Adobe Premiere Pro to auto transcribe dialogue.
KdenLive is one the best video editors. It's completely free, FOSS, and has as many features as professional-level software. Davinci Resolve (free) is excellent for most cases. From memory it can't do h265 (without the workaround) or do certain types of text tracking.
I use shotcut. it's fine, but occasionally I lust for Adobe Premiere plugins. Davinci resolve is pretty good for being free but I personally use after effects to edit which I got for free with a school account. Kdenlive and DaVinci Resolve are my go-to's.
