10 lip 2016 · What would my Brothers recommend for the best "all-around" 9mm powder? I carry 124 gr Hornady XTP +P rounds and practice with whatever cheap stuff I have on hand. I recently stocked up on 115 gr. FMJ Perfecta ($9.78 a box at Wally's) and find it accurate, reliable, and clean.
25 cze 2020 · For several years my most used powder for 9mm and 38SC has been WSF. For open guns with comps I shot quite a bit of WAC, but still prefer WSF. I've used it for minor steel loads as well as +P higher PF loads. I just worked up a load for a 9mm PCC and am happy with WSF for that as well.

6 sty 2019 · As I mentioned above, my favorite load for 9MM is 115 gr. plated or jacketed bullet at 1150 fps minimum. I prefer jacketed bullets or thick plated plated bullets. My favorite powder is Alliant Power Pistol.
If you’re loading magnum rounds, you might want to try a slow-burning powder like Hodgdon H110 or Accurate 5744, but for a 38, 380, 25 auto, and 9mm, Winchester 231 is always an excellent choice.
