  1. I just recently found my red 3DS with my old copies of DS era pokemon games (Black 2, Heartgold, Platinum etc.) but I never got into the 3D era of pokemon games. So what are the best 3DS pokemon game and can I still transfer my beloved early gen pokemon to these games?

  2. Pokemon Crystal Clear is an awesome Crystal romhack that basicly makes it into an open world type game, I'd recommend checking it out

  3. If you want to avoid original DS games, your best bet is ORAS. It's decent and the best of that era of relatively easy and barebones Pokemon games right before the collapse of the series, but it is blatantly missing any post-game content and the few new things it adds are done relatively poorly (new story, Megas balancing, new characters, etc.).

  4. Love the 3ds but Pokémon never appealed to me. From what I read online, the quality is pretty even and it mostly comes done to personal taste. If you want to start at the beginning, go with X/Y. If you want the most features and best graphics, go with Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon.

  5. I would definitely recommend black and white 2 though as they have such a large amount of content (pwt is amazing) and have to be the best looking sprite based pokemon games of all time. I wouldn't recommend hgss or diamondpearlplat though as I really dislike how slow the games feel but if it doesn't bother you then go for it.

  6. A subreddit dedicated to **creating** Pokémon Fan Games made in RPG Maker XP. Here you can learn how to make them, and show off your progress! New developer? Check the sidebar for a list of helpful links!

  7. Not only can you play X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, but you can also play Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 on the 3DS as well as Virtual Consoles for Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold Silver and Crystal too.
