10-ball break and run is a variation of the popular game of billiards. The goal of the game is to pocket balls with the cue ball starting on each shot, and pot all ten numbers consecutively from one through ten in a row without missing.
16 lip 2018 · One format I’ve seen is that if you make a ball on the break and then make a ball after the break, you can stop and take whatever money you made. So if it’s at $1000, it’s $100/ball (in 10 ball). That makes it easier to win some money, and makes the decision-making a little more interesting.
The general guideline is to move the cb towards the center if the 2nd row balls are going short, or to break softer, and vice versa to move more towards the side rail if they're going long, or to break harder.

Especially if a template is being used. You just get trickier and more interesting patterns. But of all the rotation games, I really enjoy 15 ball rotation.

What is a good approach for the 10-ball break? The approach in the illustration below works well if you can get a tight rack (see how to get a tight rack). The main goal is to pocket one or both of the 2nd-row balls in the side pockets.
13 lip 2019 · My initial thoughts are to keep a running tabulation of the previous 10 tournaments / break and runs entrants, and the lucky player who gets their name drawn for the break and run pool is only eligible to win a maximum whatever percentage of the last 10 tournaments they've played in.
