Berkeley Law’s early decision program is binding. If you are admitted, this means that you must commit to enrolling at Berkeley Law the following fall and that you must submit a Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) by the date indicated in your admission notification.
A: Due to the highly competitive nature of our transfer applicant pool, hundreds of students who had excellent academic and personal credentials were denied admission to Berkeley for fall. For fall 2024, Berkeley received over 19,000 applications of extraordinary caliber and talent.
The application filing period is October 1 – November 30. All applications must be submitted by November 30. Berkeley does not offer application for early admission or early decision.

Applications for entry in Fall 2025 will open in October and will close on December 15, 2024 at 8:59pm PST. ALL application materials (including letters of recommendation for all applicants, and test scores for international applicants) must be received by the December 15 deadline.
