6 cze 2013 · I'm going to be starting Revell's 1/32nd Bell X-1 and I'm looking for some good detail photos and technical diagrams. I've found a couple basic diagrams online, but I'll be rescribing the panels and I'd like to have some official diagrams to go by.
19 gru 2009 · I was really amazed at the size of the kit and thought I would show some size comparison to other kits of the X-1. At the top of the pic is the Pegasus kit, under it is the 1/32 Revell offering, next is the Eduard 1/48 kit and at the bottom is the 12 Squared 1/72 scale X-1.
13 lip 2017 · This is really going to help anyone making this kit; the superb fine detailing work will help anyone building any Bell X-1. The cockpit looks great, I like your approach of putting white down first for the seat belts, then another shade on top. I also really like the canopy masking technique!
17 paź 2022 · While this kit may not be considered up to some standards today, it is really an excellent kit for the money. There are some aftermarket parts available for this model, mainly improved cockpit components.
With 51, 1/32 scale (fairly large) parts, this kit is clean and simple and features a simple but nicely detailed cockpit with an optional pilot figure, a highly detailed rocket engine, fairly detailed landing gear with doors and a separate cockpit door.
22 lip 2003 · While the resin and photo-etched details add about $10.00 to the price of the "profipack" kit, it still is not a bad value, considering that most serious builders would invest in after-market details anyway. Overall, everything is provided to build an accurate, highly detailed replica out of the box. Ernie Schafer
The Kit. Dragon's 1/144 release of the Bell X-1 actually contains two kits in one box. In addition, they have molded the fuselage halves in clear plastic to show all the excellent interior detail they include with the kit. Pretty nice if you like to show of the internals of your models.
