ANSI/ ASME INTERNAL Screw Thread Size Chart. All units are in inches. Unified Screw Threads per. ANSI/ASME B1.1-1989 (R2001), R2001) Nomenclature, are used. Acceptability criteria are described in ANSI/ASME B1.3M-1992 (R2001). Note: This screw chart is not comprehensive of all available standard threads as provided by the standard.

1/4 - 20 UNC : Basic Thread Dimensions (Pitch, minor & major diameters, depth, lead), Tolerance range for all applicable classes and much more
1 1/4 - 20 20-UN : Basic Thread Dimensions (Pitch, minor & major diameters, depth, lead), Tolerance range for all applicable classes and much more
The minor diameter is the smallest diameter of a thread and is measured across opposite roots of the tooth profile. The pitch diameter is the diameter of an imaginary circle between the major and minor diameters for which the threads and the roots have equal widths.
Below 1/4″ the diameters are given by a series of numbers from #0 to #12. Each “number” describes an arbitrary diameter as shown in the below table. It is also allowed to denote the diameters with a decimal value. For example 0.250 (1/4″), 0.4375 (7/16″), etc. By default, the pitch is given in TPI.
Metric internal thread dimensions chart according to ASME B1.13M "Metric Screw Threads: M Profile" standard. Minor diameter, pitch diameter and major diameter are given dimensions in the internal thread chart.
