1 paź 2017 · I have a Beer's Black from the spring 2017 Arizona Rare Fruit Growers tree sale. The AZRFG purchased this variety from Agristarts which propagates via tissue culture, so my guess is that the plants were disease free.
‘Beer’s Black’ is a dwarf fig tree that produces medium- sized figs with a reddish-pink center and a violet exterior skin. Similar to ‘Violette de Bordeaux,’ this is one of the best figs for eating and making preserves.
Potted fig trees need soil that is well-draining, nutrient-rich, and light enough to support healthy root growth. A combination of soilless mediums (perlite, vermiculite, sand, peat moss, coconut coir), compost, additives for acidity, and slow-release fertilizer works well for fig trees.
