26 kwi 2024 · Owing to its incredible speed and STAB moves, Greninja is a frightening wallbreaker and sweeper that is capable of snowballing teams after a boost thanks to Battle Bond. Water Shuriken provides good priority for Greninja to revenge kill faster-weakened threats such as Darkrai and Deoxys-Speed.
Ash Greninja is still better because the transformation sticks until the end of the battle while the nerfed Battle Bond’s stat boost upon a KO is limited to once per battle, forcing Greninja to stay in if it wants to make the most out of it; Toxapex can even Haze away the boosts.

20 maj 2024 · Battle Bond (Japanese: きずなへんげ Bond Transformation) is an event-exclusive Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Greninja. When a Greninja with Battle Bond directly causes another Pokémon (including allies) to faint by using a damaging move, unless this ends the battle, it will change into Ash-Greninja.
Transforms this Pokémon into Ash-Greninja after fainting an opponent. Water Shuriken's power is 20 and always hits three times. It creates throwing stars out of compressed water. When it spins them and throws them at high speed, these stars can split metal in two. It appears and vanishes with a ninja’s grace.
