31 mar 2017 · Without even seeing it, one shop estimated $10k (siting $1100/gallon for paint), and the other $10K to $30K. This was even after I said this was a basic paint job - no show quality, etc. The guy sounded like he was on drugs (maybe at that $30k price?). Still shopping around.

16 cze 2012 · If you want a car that they remove all the panels and trim that is where you get into $5000+ paint jobs. I had my daughters Accord painted with the $600 Maaco job. I had realistic expectations. Her car had all kinds of surface scratches and peeling bumper paint (9 year old car).

It all depends on what you are willing to pay them. If you plan on getting the cheap one stage enamel paint job, well you get what you pay for. It will end up looking like shit and may even blow off the car at 70mph. Now if you choose to get the premium 2 stage urethane paint job where they prep the car properly, you should be happy with the work.
