1 maj 2011 · You won't have a problem if you locate the sump pump in the low spot of the basement. Also, be careful that what you're getting is actually WaterGuard. It's a product that is only available to authorized Basement Systems Dealers and is not for retail sale.
The WaterGuard® basement waterproofing system from Basement Systems is an innovative interior basement drainage system designed to effectively solve your basement water problems. When combined with our sump pumps and other waterproofing products, WaterGuard will keep your basement clean and dry year round.
Capturing groundwater before it leaks is an essential feature of the Interior Basement Drainage: WaterGuard®. Collection and ejection. A well-functioning basement drainage system collects water before it leaks onto the floor and transports the water to a sump pump for ejection to the exterior.
The entire WaterGuard system must be connected to your sump pump pit. As water is collected in the WaterGuard drain, it will work it’s way down to the sump pump pit to be properly discarded. A much better solution than seeping onto your basement floor!
