Barthel is a great local option for fruit, gourd, and pumpkin picking and has plenty of extras, like apple treats, pre-picked apples, brats & other savory foods, a beer garden, and corn maze. When we were there, they had an Oktoberfest happening which was fun.

Starting in May we offer a vast variety of perennials, herbs and vegetable plants. Mid June through early July we start with pick your own strawberries and sugar snap peas and homemade bakery items. Then we are closed till the beginning of September when we open again with tree ripened apples.
