Get a full set of engaging and absorbable lecture videos, practice questions, and course materials. Use them interchangeably while studying rules of professional responsibility, code of judicial conduct, and law of lawyering. We recommend at least 20 hours of study for the MPRE.
How should I study for the MPRE? The BARBRI MPRE Review provides 12 substantive modules, four practice exams, the MPRE Maximizer (“cram packet”) and optional extra practice questions for the most comprehensive prep. Substantive modules. The substantive modules are generally between 60 to 90 minutes.
Most of the people I talked to said they scored poorly on the barbri practice tests and then passed the mpre with a lot of room to spare. The consensus being barbri questions are harder than the real questions.
The following sample questions are examples of test questions similar to those on the MPRE. While these sample questions illustrate the kinds of questions that will appear on the MPRE, they do not represent all the material covered. Examinees are advised to review the information on MPRE content, including the subject matter outline.
I found that to be helpful at the beginning of my study period to just make sure I was not totally lost and lock down the rules. The Barbri practice questions are fine enough. If you only have time to watch one set of videos for MPRE prep, I recommend Barbri.
