Xaero's World Map mod adds a self-writing fullscreen map to your Minecraft client. Works as a separate mod but is a lot better with Xaero's Minimap. The reason why it's available separately is to keep Xaero's Minimap as light-weight as possible.
Minecraft officially introduced banners in 1.8 . After seeing the generic designs that were added in, banners didn't seem any fun anymore. But now, with the advent of Custom Banner Loader, everything changes! Create a simple black/white image, a .json file and bam! New banner and shield types.
This mod adds several new banner patterns to the game. Almost all of them can be crafted in the traditional method. The Item/Block used to craft each banner can be seen above the banner in the screenshot image.
You can design these banners to your liking if you want. Specifically, this mod includes more than 25 new and old banner templates that have been added and improved. Each model can be designed in a specific shape and color according to the player’s wishes and has a total of 16 different colors.

30 lip 2014 · Tutorial/Guide for Banners in 1.8. To create a banner, you need 6 wool, and 1 stick. To change the background color of the banner, use another color of wool. To add layers to your banner, you must put an already created banner into a crafting table, and add the crafting recipe for the design you want to add.
