Bambara nut seeds of two landraces (LocalBam and TVSU544) were obtained from the market in Arua (north western region), while a third landrace (AbiBam001) was bought in Lira market (northern region) (Figure 1). Seeds for subsequent plantings were obtained from the previous experiments.
