22 kwi 2017 · Baker Street Day will be part of Paisley’s bid to become City of Culture 2021. The aim of the project is to have 100 or more saxophone players playing Baker Street in the middle of Paisley.
As a then-unknown session musician, Ravenscroft was booked to play saxophone on two tracks on the album, City to City (1978). His contribution included the sax riff on the best-known song from the album and of Rafferty's career, "Baker Street".

Around 25 saxophonists were joined a by a live band and a crowd of hundreds on the town’s High Street for a special performance of the Paisley-born
