31 paź 2019 · It’s impossible to roam the halls of Mineral Wells’ 14-story Baker Hotel without uttering the stories of its hauntings. And while I look forward to sharing more about the history and state of the hotel itself in my next post, Halloween calls and insists that we revisit their stories once more.
The hotel is occupied by spirits of those who were sick and came to the hotel to bask in the curing mineral water pools but ended up passing away. The most famous ghost story is the haunting of TD Baker himself and his mistress.

Zak, Nick & Aaron travel to a tiny Texas town to determine if the town's "crazy water" has led to the Baker Hotel becoming infested with ghosts. During the lockdown, Zak turns aggressive after a shadow figure disappears into him.

21 cze 2015 · The Kyle House. Built in 1892 by local pharmacist C.F. Yeager, the Haunted Hill House sits a few blocks east of Mineral Wells’ historic (and infamously haunted) Baker Hotel. For many years, the home was known around town as “the Kyle House” because Fannie Yeager Kyle and her sister lived there until the late 1920’s.
The stories of ghosts and hauntings began in the Baker long before it ever closed. A porter who worked there during the 1950's and 1960's was the first known to witness the ghost of the woman on the seventh floor.
