Baggage delivery service. 2 years ago. We will be traveling for a month from Canada and just a carry on might not do it for us. I was wondering if anyone has shipped their suitcase via a shipping company between the Netherlands and the UK? I have been looking at mybaggage.com. 9 years ago. Aug-Sep 2015 my wife and I had a multi-part vacation stretching across several weeks. We thought it was a great idea to send two of our bags from the USA to meet us at our hotel in Venice Italy. We used SendMyBag.com. Bottom line: We will never use their service again.

Although couriers like DHL (which is probably the one I would choose) advertise as door to door, a) you can drop off at collection points in London if you want, just drill down in the website ...

Answer 1 of 25: I know I am going to be overweight. There is a corny called excess baggage company who are at the airport. Has anyone used them, and if so were there any problems?
Apparently the problems are due to shortages in baggage handling staff at airports. Baggage forwarding services would send the bags as freight which would work around that particular bottleneck. I quite agree that the services are likely to be expensive.
If we're taking about something like 6-8 and all about 30kgs, the cheapest option for me was to fly business class (most allow 2 checked bags) and check in the rest as subsequent extra piece ($100-200 per piece).
