12 wrz 2014 · I have always had a slow oil leak around my Fuel pump and tightening the bolts didn't help. I had fuel starvation issues and so I decided to get a new pump along with the new filters. The filters solved the problem, but I might as well replace the pump now that I have it.
Replacing the fuel pump is fairly straight forwards, pretty much pull the bolts, remove the pump, clean the gasket, and install a new gasket and pump.
3 wrz 2020 · Your Jeep is starving for fuel. The whiring in the fuel pump gives me an idea. Have you checked the fuel pickup sock in the tank? It sounds like is is disintegrating of just clogged. You might be having a fuel pickup problem.
11 sie 2022 · The pump failures are when the motor is driving at neighborhood speeds. Testing the jeep after installs of various new parts the gas starts out the weep hole on all 3 failed pumps. Benson's replaced the 2 Delphis the next day and CT is replacing the Cartier the next day after pumps failed.
