31 paź 2021 · on my iPad Pro the space bar on the magic keyboard not working properly. I need to press the option key everytime with the space bar to make it work. Go to your Accessibility settings and make sure that Space has not been mistakenly set to a special function.

The “del” is forward-delete, as indicated by the right-facing icon on that key. It’s working as expected. Having it backward-delete would be redundant because the backspace key immediately below it does that already.
Fortunately there is a solution... Head over to settings—> General —> Accessibility —> Keyboard —> Key Repeat. Then lower the values for ‘Key Repeat Interval’ and ‘Delay Until Repeat’. If they are set to their minimum, you’ll be able to backspace at lightning speed!

5 lis 2023 · I’ve noticed recently that when using the backspace key in OneNote that it will sometimes jump or skip over characters in the line and reposition the cursor. It seems to be more or less random, I can’t reproduce it on demand but it is frequent enough to be a serious nuisance.
