So, I got Baccano based on on some good reviews. OK, I didn't entirely dislike it. And it had some promise. This is the kind of adult/mature themed Anime I liked. But here are my main flaws: Cons: Too Many Characters? wtf? wtf? wtf. I have never seen so many characters in a story. The beginning episode starts out with like 20 characters.

Baccano is REALLY REALLY that good. If you love a show with twists and turns, hilarious, an epic story and amazing characters, it's prefect for you. It's also set in america, mainly onboard a transcontinental train to new York, but there is alot of time skips.

Baccano is great, one of my few 10/10s. It's a lot of zany fun with a colorful cast of characters that doesn't overstay its welcome, plus it's set in a very unusual time period for anime! I would call it a modern classic in the anime community.
The mood is set in wonderfully, colors, decorations, clothes, all contributes well to Baccano's characteristic atmosphere. Characters, save for the sea of featureless gangsters, shot and cut down in packs, are all distinctive and pleasant to look at.
13 sty 2008 · Baccano! is perhaps the first anime series that I've seen that takes the period of the 1930s and dives into the hearts of several gangsters, all with very distinct personalities - something that makes this stand uniquely from its peers.
