11 lis 2008 · You will be needing to chip/tune this to do it properly, so you can use any OBD1 VTEC ECU really. P28 or the P72 (GSR) ECU's are most common. Seals/gaskets you'll need to replace:
31 sie 2009 · I was looking up specs for my B18C1 and there was a VTEC Switchover (4400) and a VTEC Engagement (5800) listed.. what's the difference? I take it as 4400rpms is switchover into VTEC 'territory', assumnin all VTEC requirements are met Vtec will engage after this point.
I can hear vtec engage at 4400rpm but i cant feel any torque/power gain till the secondary flys open up. Wouldnt the lower cam profile be more of a benefit when the long and narrow runners are still been used in the manifold??

5 lis 2012 · Set the VTEC point to the intersection of the high speed cam and the low speed cam. Generally if there is a sudden increase in engine output immediately after the cams switch then lower VTEC. Conversely if there is a sudden dip in engine output then raise the VTEC point.
