Holiday Tickets at the Rotary Ice Rink at Travis Park. While it was free to get into the park, you have to purchase tickets to skate. You can buy the following tickets here.
The Rotary Ice Rink presented by Valero will return this fall at Travis Park in downtown San Antonio. Since 2019, nearly 200,000 people have enjoyed the rink and surrounding festivities. The Rink will open the Friday before Thanksgiving and will operate daily through mid-January 2024.
Skate Parks. Skate plazas are available for skaters of all levels to enjoy and exercise. The plazas are unstaffed, free and open to the public during park hours, 5 a.m. - 11 p.m. Not all parks have lighting available. The premier location is Lady Bird Johnson Park's skate facility.
