Gov. Doug Ducey signed H.B. 2156 into law in July 2022, allowing for a $125 million dollar tax incentive program for film studios that want to shoot and produce films in Arizona.
Minimum fee permits are required to shoot on Arizona State Trust Lands and in State Parks. Some cities including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson, Page, Prescott, and Yuma require permits for filming, as do Maricopa and Pima Counties.
