16 lip 2007 · just tune the engine like normal, set needles to factory positions, set top end, set low end etc. there are a couple of incredible tuning threads on this site, use those. my axials are crazy fast and all the spec 1s 28's come off the track around 220-230 and are making great power.
5 maj 2010 · Onroad Nitro Engine Zone - Axial 28 1S spec - Does anyone run this engine? Have you had any luck tuning the thing? I can tune it to run perfect in my 1/8 GT onroad car for about the first 3 minutes then it starts to run very lean.
The Axial .28 Spec 2S is Axial's replacement for the original Spec 1S engine. This version features a larger machined billet aluminum heat-sink head for increased surface area and cooling, adjusted timing for increased RPM (37,500 vs. 36,000), and a 9mm bore, three needle slide carburetor that includes 8.0 & 8.5mm venturis.
