We have been testing out the various flow levels of the Philips Avent bottles, but we noticed that, even with the #5 (the highest flowing nipple), our newborn doesn't get as much formula as they do with their hospital-provided bottle. You can see the two bottles I'm referring to side-by-side here.
16 kwi 2022 · You can try a 2 or 3 and see how babe does. Try and do a little test to see how fast it comes out when you turn it upside down and if a 3 seems too quick then use 2. Babies can choke super easy. Also if the flow is too slow babe can get mad and cry even when bottle is given because they aren’t getting much or it’s taking too long.
