The AMT AutoMag III is a strange pistol. It's chambered in the .30 carbine round, the same as the iconic M1 Carbine.
The Automag III is equal parts remarkable and challenging — an AMT design in a nutshell. On one hand, the gun was eminently practical: There was still a lot of surplus .30 Carbine floating around in the early 1990s, and the company designed a niche handgun to gobble up that supply.
9 maj 2019 · I have heard a lot of good and bad reviews about this pistol over the years, but at the asking price of 1K, I threw caution to the wind and bought it and glad I did! I finally got it to the range and shot 50 rounds through it.
