19 mar 2020 · it cost me about 45 minutes inserting each pdf one by one. each pdf was saved to the desktop. i did not move the pdf files from their original desktop saved location. but autocad has lost the file references.
13 cze 2024 · Causes: The xref is nested and the parent file has changed. The drive letter where the xrefs are stored has changed. The actual xref file was not provided, deleted, or moved. The xref attachment exists in a template, but the Path Type is relative. The xref file is corrupted.
3 maj 2024 · After saving, closing, and reopening a drawing file in AutoCAD, some or all external references (Xrefs) are missing. They then need to be reloaded, or detached and reattached. This also occurs with files stored locally and in the correct directories.
When one or more xrefs are not found, an exclamation point is added to the Xref icon. If you click the Xref icon, the External References palette is displayed.
28 sie 2019 · When working in a project or if you are in receipt of some AutoCAD drawings from a third party a dialogue box will appear if some externally referenced files have been specified but cannot be located or read. This can be due to several causes depending on circumstances.
You can use the External References palette to update the locations of the unresolved references. To avoid these errors make sure that when you transfer or distribute drawing files that have xrefs attached, you also include all the referenced files.
