What are people saying about dance clubs in Austin, TX? "I recently got to experience my first DJ set at Kingdom, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The venue was kept very cold, which was actually perfect since I was on the dance floor most of the night. The bartenders were incredibly nice, and overall, the place felt clean and well-maintained.
I recommend Antone's, C-Boys, Continental Club, Sahara Lounge, Peacock Lounge, Saxon Pub, etc. for some classic Austin bars with great music as opposed Rainey Street or Dirty 6th which is a lot of bars next door to each other but not a lot of great live music, maybe cover bands.

3 gru 2023 · Sixth Street’s reputation revolves around the bars and bands that constitute downtown nightlife in Austin. My bad for thinking it might be appropriate for a stroll with the family one afternoon.
I'm thinking of heading back to Austin when the weather cools off to visit some friends and was contemplating going down to 6th Street. Is it still worth visiting? I've heard some stories that it is no longer safe, high crime, no more good music.. fun stuff like that.
