22 sie 2024 · Neonates and Infants Aged <12 weeks (<3 months): The recommended dose of AUGMENTIN is 30 mg/kg/day divided every 12 hours, based on the amoxicillin component. Experience with the 200 mg/5 mL formulation in this age group is limited, and thus, use of the 125 mg/5 mL oral suspension is recommended.

The usual recommended daily dosage is: Lower dose: 25/3.6 to 45/6.4 mg/kg/day in two divided doses for mild to moderate infections (upper respiratory tract infections e.g. recurrent tonsillitis, lower respiratory infections and skin and soft tissue infections).
